In the business world, everyone needs to sell themselves or their organization. The Sales minor prepares students with the skills to build relationships, strengthen confidence, develop presentation skills and gain valuable experience. The minor is open to students of all majors and concentrations, except for marketing. Students who choose this minor are required to complete specific classes that educate them on sales principles, how to sell, selling techniques, managing salespeople, use of data and technology, and the principles of marketing. The minor equips students to find entry-level positions in all types of organizations (large corporations, small business, professional firms, consulting firms and non-profit organizations).
