Literacy Education Minor

The minor in Literacy Education creates an opportunity for students from a wide variety of majors to apply literacy education to advocate for social change. The interdisciplinary minor provides students with knowledge of literacy development, literacy research, critical thinking and exposure to literature relevant to understanding the experiences of diverse groups in society. Due to the changing nature and demands for literacy, the minor is applicable to careers across all disciplines.
