Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology

The B.S. in Kinesiology requires nine units of prerequisite courses and 51 units in the major, including nine units of foundation courses, 18 units of disciplinary core courses, a three-unit writing course and 21 units of concentration courses. All courses in the major, including prerequisites, must be completed with a “C” (2.0) or better, and must be taken on an Option 1 (letter grade) basis. Kinesiology courses with the “junior or senior standing” prerequisite require students to have completed a minimum of 55 units.

Exercise Science Concentration (21 units)

Provides knowledge and practical experience supporrting careers in exercise science and  research. Prepares students for advanced study in exercise physiology, biomechanics and/or motor control and learning.
