BIOL 446 - Marine Phycology (4)

Biological aspects of marine algae; comparative development, morphology, taxonomy, physiology and ecology. (2 hours lecture, 6 hours laboratory or fieldwork; weekend field trips may be required.)

Prerequisites: Biology majors: BIOL 251 and BIOL 253L, or BIOL 273; BIOL 252 and BIOL 254L, or BIOL 274. All other majors: BIOL 151 or BIOL 172; BIOL 152 or BIOL 171; BIOL 252 and BIOL 254L, or BIOL 274; or graduate standing. All prerequisites must be completed with a “C” (2.0) or better.
